It isn’t strange news anymore that Nigerian music is the leading light & the biggest in Africa and also one that projects African music to the world.
This is evident in the current nominees list for the “African Artiste Of The Year” category at the Vodafone Ghana music awards as four Nigerian music giants appear in the list that has only six African Musicians.
Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy & Mr Eazi have been pitched against Kenya’s Sauti Sol and South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest in that category at the Ghana music awards.
It will be worthy of note to know that it was Davido who won the award last year, and it will be an exciting news to hear that another Nigerian takes home the gong.
