A man from Bungoma county was beaten to death by his wife and two sons after he came home drunk on the night of Monday, January 21.
Joseph Khalabai, 55, had just returned home drunk upon which he quarreled with his wife over conjugal rights, this angered his two sons who descended on him with blunt objects.
Following the argument that ensued, his wife screamed attracting the attention of her two sons aged 25 and 28 who came for to their mother's rescue.
They found their mother crying while shouting that her husband wanted to rape her. It's reported that the boys descended on their father inflicting serious body injuries.
After the incident they all left the house only to come back in the morning and found the man unconscious.
The deceased was rushed to Dreamland Mission Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
The wife has been arrested while his two boys are still at large.
Confirming the incident, Kimilili police boss called on angry residents to be patient as they pursue the suspects.
